Sick Baby

Cameron has been sick all weekend! Well, he started with goopy eye discarge on Friday. We thought maybe it was allergies, but Saturday he started showing cold symptoms. It was really bad yesterday...runny/stuffy nose, more eye goop, low-grade fever. Poor guy looks and sounds so pathetic. He had the hardest time sleeping last night. He just couldn't breathe. I have it so lucky most of the time because he sleeps all night, every night. It KILLS me to get up with him when he's sick. What a baby I am! He had a hard time taking his bottle this morning. It's hard to breathe through your mouth and suck a bottle at the same time, I take it.

Cam's urologist appointment is today at 3:00. I'll keep you updated.

We went to my mom & dad's house for dinner Saturday night. It was really good - steak, grilled potatoes, spinach, corn on the cob, rolls & stawberry pie! I had a great time, too. Amy & I snuck away for about an hour to do some shopping. I got cam some pajamas and a little bodysuit AND I bought myself an outfit! Capri pants (or are the cropped pants, Amy?), a top and some sandals! Closed toe, of course. If you know me, you know I don't show toe. Cameron passes out in my arms while I was sitting in mom's livingroom and we all just talked. I had fun.

Last night, we went to Jan & Big Jim's for dinner. We went for a ride beforehand (so Cameron would sleep) and got lost! Too bad we did not get more lost and have to skip Jan & Jim's. No, it was not that bad. We had beef roast, potatoes, carrots and broccoli & cauliflower. Cam was not too fussy, although when it was time to go, he surely let us know about it! At least I got to borrow a book out of the deal...The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. Anyone read it? I'm working on my second Stephanie Plum novel now, so I won't be starting on The Lovely Bones until I finish it.

Cam will be 10 months old on Friday! Can you believe it? I cannot. That means he'll be a year old in 2 months!!! What the heck happened there? How'd he get so old so quickly? We need to start planning the big birthday party (or parties). I'm thinking cake right now. I saw a cute cake that is acutally like 6 medium-sized baby blocks. I think it's rather cute, but Tony did not seem that thrilled. I'd like to have the same woman who made our wedding cake do Cam's cake. Our wedding cake was to die for. In my opinion, anyway.
