Is it Friday yet?

Listening to: Barenaked for the Holidays - BNL (don't know why I'm listening to Christmas music...I just am)

Reading: Gone with the Wind (I forgot I even had this book until Cam found it in the closet and handed it to me)

Gestation update: 9 weeks, 6 days along - baby is the size of a plum

Guess I'll update my blog! I know it's been a week, but I just haven't felt like being on the computer much, let alone pouring out my thoughts here. Sorry. It's a rather gloomy day. It has rained pretty much all morning. The dogs are lying on the office floor, snoring, and Cam is napping in his crib. Not a lot going on. I plan to throw some chicken and dumplings (aka chix and dumps) in the crockpot later. Finish cleaning up the kitchen. Maybe clean the living room. That's my day in a nutshell. Screams excitement, right?

It's Wednesday and my OB appointment is Friday morning! That's so soon! Finally. Must shave legs. I have my list of questions ready. Well, there aren't too many questions, really. Just:

1) Can I have some vitamins with a stool softener? (nice, huh?)

2) What are the odds of me having placenta previa again?

3) Is a VBAC delivery possible? (vaginal birth after cesarean)

I really don't have any others yet. Can you think of any? I guess these visits will probably be pretty short, since I've been there, done that and won't have a gazillion questions this time. It's like at the pediatrician - at first I had tons of questions and the visits were kinda lengthy. Then at Cameron's 12 month visit, I realized I had practically nothing to ask! I guess I was getting better at the parenting thing. Or just more used to it anyway.

Man, I really feel like a grilled ham and cheese. I think it's my favorite craving so far this pregnancy. Other cravings include pizza (particularly Pizza Hut, and I really am not a Pizza Hut fan generally), shredded sharp cheddar cheese (yes, the shredded kind - don't know why), pasta (surprise), cheeseburgers (fast food and grilled...I am dying for a nice, juicy burger from our grill. It's just too cold and wet to grill yet.) Salads (big, yummy, loaded restaurant salads with ranch dressing). Milk and ice cream are still making me want to run the other way.

Off to prepare my famous grilled H&C! Yum. Catch you latah!
