Reading - The Probable Future, but I'm way toward the end!
Weight loss update! I've lost 4 pounds! Yay! I haven't had a soft drink or chocolate or any junk food since Sunday! I only craved a Coke twice and chocolate once. I ate small portions, except for Wednesday, when I went to dinner with Amy and ate all of my pasta. I think it's a give and take deal. Eat smaller portions most of the time and indulge every once in a while. It worked this week, anyway. And I exercised not a bit. Maybe I'll add exercise in a week or so. I'm pretty darn proud of myself, but I don't feel any lighter yet. My pants still feel the same. When my clothes start fitting better, that's when I'll really be excited.
Cameron is feeling mucho better these days, thank goodness. He's a much happier boy...thank you very much amoxicillin! He still is getting frustrated some, but not as much as he was when he was in the throes of sickness. I think it's just him reacting to all of the changes going on for him....his physical and mental changes in the last 5 months have been tremendous! I think he knows what he wants most of the time, but is just having a hard time communicating it. And he wants what he wants NOW! I'm just glad to have a laughing, smiling kiddo 90% of the time. The 10% of grumpiness, I can deal with.
I can't decide whether Cam and I should go grocery shopping today. We need groceries, and it is the first non-rainy day in like weeks, it seems. But it's a real pain getting the bags into the house with Cam around. It would be better if we had a garage on the main level, bur ours is in the basement, so I have to cart bags up a few at a time, which takes forever. And I can't leave C-note unattended, so I have to put him in his crib and listen to him scream (unless he's sleepy, but that probably wouldn't be the case). Maybe we can all go shopping as a family tonight. That's better. Two adults against a kid and groceries is much easier. So, then, what to do today? I'd like for us to get out. Maybe we can go to the mall and exchange a couple of Christmas gifts? And I have a gift card for Lazarus-Macy's to use....hmm, that's an idea! Or we could go to Target, but I have no gift card to use there. I much rather would have a gift card for Tarjay than Laz. Oh well, a gift's a gift, right?
It sounds like Cam's asleep, so I think I will wash my bod. So long!
