Peas Rock!

Listening to: Stunt by.....here's a shocker...BNL
Reading: Eats, Shoots & Leaves (a book on punctuation, of all things! Actually, it's very humorous)

My diet has slowly gone to crap. But I'm ok with it, because I am going to dinner for my birthday (a little early) on the 15th with Tony, Cam, Mom, Amer and Shawn. And it's the beloved Macaroni Grill, so I won't be holding back. After the weekend, though, I'll be back to eating better. Promise. No really, I do. I'm too tired of being a chunk to not do better.

Cameron ate peas Monday! As in lots of peas! At least 40. It was a momentous occasion. I wonder if he'll eat them again, though? Maybe I'll give him the leftovers for lunch today. We'll see how he likes them the second time.

Cammers had his 18-month checkup yesterday and it was awesome. Hardly any waiting. He got upset (as usual) when the nurse went to weigh him, so we weighed Baby (his puppy) first to show him it was "fun." He still whimpered and whined, but he didn't scream or reach/grab for me while he was on the scale. The measuring part was another story. He just hates that. The verdict?

Our 18-month old weighs 30 lbs, 14 oz and is THREE FEET TALL! He's a giant.

He got one shot and it wasn't too traumatic. He's gotten pretty good at getting over being upset lately. He's learning "to deal" in his own way! We don't go back to the pedi for a well-check until he's two! Crossing my fingers that we don't have to go too much in between now and then. Hopefully, none at all, but that might be pushing it.

Well, I'm on cycle day 26, so I decided to take a home preggo test today. Big fat negatory. Not shocking AT ALL this cycle. Since both Tony and Cam were sick, we only got to do the deed once around my fertile time, so I knew the odds were against us in a big way. Moving on to cycle TEN. Can't believe it's taking so freaking long. I think I might chart my temps (ugh, I hate charting) this next cycle, just so I have something to show to the doctor if we don't conceive in the next couple of months.

Today, the plan is this:

two loads of laundry
dust, vacuum and decorate living room (we still haven't put the normal LR stuff back up after we took the Xmas trinkets down!)
run dishwasher
maybe go grocery shopping
Update Cam's site with winter pictures (tony finally added a winter folder for me!)

Man, it's already 11:15. Better get my bottom in gear. Cheers!
