Don't have to dream of a white Christmas

Well. Let's see here. Since yesterday morning, we've gotten like 10 inches of snow and ice. Tony's company closed early yesterday and was closed today, which is totally unheard of. He's out in the driveway now, trying to dig us out. There's a level three snow emergency in our county and in most of the area, which means you are not allowed to be on the road unless you are an emergency vehicle or a snow plow. Our street looks pretty decent, but we live at the end of a cul-de-sac and the plows haven't touched our circle - in fact, they've plowed some of the snow from the street into our circle. According to the news, we are finished with the heavy snow and ice...just a couple of snow showers are expected this afternoon. I really hope things clear up a bit before tomorrow, since we are expected at Stason's house (Staci and Jason, brother- and sister-in-law) for Christmas Eve breakfast. And we are going to my Aunt's for Christmas Eve dinner. I hope, anyway!

Luckily, Cameron and I got out Tuesday to finish up Christmas shopping. Unluckily, I locked my keys in my car at Target! Yes, folks, 'tis the season to be stupid! It wasn't too bad out...it was like 50 degrees, but a bit windy. I had to call a locksmith, who arrived in less than 20 minutes and was very very kind. He got the car unlocked in like 10 minutes and walked away $65 richer. What a loser I am. I felt like such a dumbass. Oh well! It was a long day, but we got a lot of shopping done and Cameron was a saint all day. So many store clerks commented on what a good, happy boy he was. We took a break at dinnertime to meet Tony at the OG (Olive Garden, for those not in-the-know) and then C & I headed off to our last store before calling it a night.

I really should be wrapping gifts right now. I cannot believe Christmas is just two days away. It's insanity! I really hope we are allowed to drive on Christmas!

Here are a couple more shots from the December 17 BNL show at the Taft...

how lucky can this guy be...Ed is letting him play his guitar!

and Merry Christmas to me!
