Yes, yes, yes! It rocked.

So......let me tell you about Friday! Tony and I went shopping, which was okay. We got a big chunk of our list out of the way, so I feel like it was a successful trip. One or both of us was in an odd mood, though, with led us to be super-snippy with each other throughout the day. So that kind of sucked. By the time we got home from shopping we were exhausted and my feet were starting to hurt. So then we went to an awesome concert and stood up for 2.5 hours and my feet are still paying for it two days later! The concert was fabulous. Again, my expectations were tremendous, and BNL did not let me down at all! I had a wonderful time. They played much of their holiday album, and mixed in lots of old and newer favorites. I loved that they mixed it up - the pace was perfect. Guess where we sat? ROW D!!!! Center section!!!! It was awesome. Row D is the 4th row back, but they put two rows of folding chairs in front of the normal seats. I guess those were the radio give-away seats. So, we were actually 6 rows back, but DAMN! I've never been so close at a concert, ever! We were like 20 feet from the band. It was so cool. They sounded so good and their usual fun banter was great Friday night. We were in the center section, but close to the isle on ED'S SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!! Ed was right in front of us. He is so friendly, smiling and waving at the crowd. It seemed like he interacted with the audience a lot. I didn't sneak my camera in because I was too afraid of it getting confiscated, but I'll tell ya, I could have gotten some awesome pictures. At the end of the show, Ed threw out guitar picks and I almost caught one! Dammit, it grazed my fingertips and fell right behind my seat. It was cool to almost catch one, though. Tyler (drummer) tossed his drum sticks and one came near us, but not near enough. We did not go to the busses after the show to meet the band. I would have loved to. In fact, I think it would have made my whole year. But, Tony was not into that at all, so that's that. (the band did come out after to meet-and-greet and pose with fans for photos) I don't think T had much of a good time at the concert, which kind of lessened the experience for me, but nothing was going to make me not enjoy the show. I think next time they are in town, though, I will take someone who would rather be there. I honestly don't know how you could not have fun at a Barenaked Ladies concert, even if you'd never heard their music. Well anyway, here are some photos other Cincinnati concert-goers snapped:

Group shot (and crotch shot especially for you, Claire)

No one has posted any clear closeups of Ed yet, but this will do!

So, I'll just say again, the concert itself was everything I expected and more. A job well done, Ladies!

Yesterday, we had Mom, Amy and Shawn over for a little Christmas party. I made lasagna again. We had good fun! Oh yes, and I got my period yesterday. Lovely. My cycle was only 25 days, so I guess I can't really call myself 'regular' or 'textbook' anymore. Hey, so, on to month #9 of trying. Terrif.

Today, we had Mike & Brenda (tony's dad and stepmom) and Jason & Staci (tony's bro and sister-in-law) over for lunch/dinner. I made a yummy beef stew. I'm like a domestic goddess! Now that all the business is over (for now) I finally have a chance to breathe and update my wonderful blog. Tonight, Tony and I are going to wrap some gifts.

Cameron's teeth are giving him a hard time lately. Not too bad, just making him whiney and clingy. To me. And only me. 'Tis the season to have a toddler permanently attached to you! No, I don't mind it too much. I know it could be MUCHO worse. Lots of kids go through hellish pain with teething, where Cam just shows mild displeasure. He's a trooper.

I can't believe I want to put myself through this again, but I think I'm going to order the Cincinnati bootleg holiday CD! Should I? It was an awesome show with totally cool improv banter about silly Cincy stuff like 5/3 Bank, goetta, premature rock salting and PORK! I think I just might do it....we'll see.

Ah, well, thanks for reading. Ciao for now!
