Saturdayness

Hey, hey!  It's Saturday.  I've lazed in bed this morning.  In and out, sleeping, waking, thinking, all that lazy, cozy, warm bed stuff.  Now I'm ready to get moving.

Today is my daughter's birthday!  Claire is three.  Hard to believe she's so old in some ways, but it seems like she's been around forever, also.  She's an awesome kid and I'm totally happy to have her in my life.  She's gorgeous, quirky, funny, smart, loving, compassionate, stubborn, happy, opinionated, sweet, firey, passionate, just perfect.  We will celebrate her birthday at my sister's house tomorrow.  Gonna be a great time.

I need to hop in the shower and head out.  Going to buy Claire's birthday gifts and maybe meander over to Old Navy and snag a tshirt for myself.  Feeling tshirt-y today.  Then I need to head back to the B&B to do a load of laundry before I head out with Jill & Bob? (his attendance is usually mysterious) to Taste of Cincinnati.  I'm excited about the Taste.  It's gonna be burning hot and schweaty, but I feel like it's a good kind of day to drink a few overpriced beers and eat all things Cincy.  Plus....People Watching!  Yay!

What I'm saying is - don't be shocked if you see a review of the Taste....maybe talking about the food and beverages...but mostly talking about the humanity walking around downtown.  Note to Mel:  don't forget your camera.  Today's the kind of day I wish I had a sleek, small camera instead of my giant dinosaur.  Oh well, I'll sling that puppy across my chest (great choice of words, right.) and that'll be that.

Hope your Saturday is as kick-ass as mine's gonna be. :-)
