Light-n-airy!

Yesterday was a heavy day, man.  Today, I've promised to lighten up.  Today's just much better.  Sunshine!  It's amazing what natural light can do.  Also, much warmer, no rain.  Sweet!  And my mood is just mucho better.  I mean, I spilled hot coffee on my chest earlier and didn't even care.  So today, I present a hodgepodge of lightness.

I figured out what I'm going to use my B&N gift card for.  It probably should have been obvious to me to begin with, but I ain't so bright.  I'm going to get Claire a book for her birthday (maybe Fancy Nancy or the like) and then a little something else.  Bookstores always have a buncha useless crap that children love.  Probably something girly girly, since that's how she rolls.

Hey, don't be alarmed.  But there is a BIG BOY on top of your restaurant. 

Would you like to see what I see when I look in my rear view mirror?  They sing a lot.  That's what they're doing here.  Isn't that sun fabulous? Can you believe I'm their mom? 

I like you quite a bit, Lilac Bush, but I think I might be allergic to you.  You make my nose itch and burn and my eyes watery.

Wanna see me before I've had my coffee?  Are you sure?

And yes, I now realize that top makes me look pregnant.  I actually had no idea previously, so I'm glad I took that self portrait.

Today, my goal is to work on the house.  Get some closets organized and work on cleaning up the basement.  We're pretty close to getting the house listed.  This is a very good thing; one step toward closure.  I seriously can't wait for all the doors to be closed...I'm looking forward to opening lots of new doors in the future.  Also, I might get all crazy and wash some baseboards.  Wild!
