Shopping, Part 2

Macy's - bought a pair of jeans and two tops.  Returning the jeans (because I found better ones!) and one of the shirts...too fussy, too tight.  The other shirt?  I'm altering.  It seems that every tee that is cute these days has freakin' sequins!  And I am assuredly anti-sequins.  It's a cute top with a lovely embroidered flowery pattern, but it has sequins.  Albeit, they are rather non-offensive as far as sequins go:  they're transparent.  Nonetheless, I'm removing them...slowly but surely.  These things take time...don't want to compromise the integrity of the shirt with my desire for it to me more "me."  Several threads connect several sequins.

Ann Taylor Loft - !!!! Yay, love that place.  Pick'ns were slim last night, but I found lots of great stuff.  Well, not lots, but enough for me.  Bought two pairs of jeans, with the intention of returning one pair.  But I love them both, so keepin' them both.  One pair - the ones I wore to work today - are a curvy bootleg fit.  I only partially dried them last night, but I've learned that they will fit better dried completely.  The other ones are a traditional bootleg fit, and I think they'll be better off only partially dried in the dryer.  I also bought two lightweight sweaters, which I'm crazy about.  Also, a deeply-discounted purple shirt...but I'm returning it because it's too big.  It's too big!  Yay.

I really like Loft.  The clothes, for the most part, are well-tailored.  You totally get what you pay for.  And I have to say, both pairs of jeans were on major sale.  One pair was $23.  Twenty-three dollars.  For Loft jeans.  I'm serious.  And I'm pretty much in love with the grey/gray sweater I wore today.  I'm determined to get another one in pink. Didn't shop for dress pants, but will need to in the near future.

Also, when it comes to bottoms, I'm a petite at Loft.  Which is not really funny, but interesting.

Also, I was thinking about making a real dinner for myself tonight, but went with a turkey and cheese sandwich instead.  Sans mayo/Miracle Whip.  Cause I have neither.

Loft is the best, and buying online is even better for discounts.
