Recap

For Luke's birthday party, we had a slightly more than reasonable amount of pre-packaged junk food. Do I feel guilty for not preparing homemade junk food? A little bit. But it's just where I am right now, so it is what it is. Little hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls. BBQ meatballs. Cheese quesadillas served with salsa and sour cream. Tortilla chips and salsa. Honey wheat pretzels. Grapes. Oreo cookie cake. What can I say? Everyone was happy.

Luke had a fabulous time playing with his toys. Spiderman toys dominated as most played with party gifts. The little girls loved the dinosaurs. Much dancing to Modest Mouse ensued. I think a good time was had by our small group. My dishwasher is now full of clean dishes. My fridge and freezer are now empty. My kids are peacefully slumbering. I'm now exhausted.

I am now considering my relationships. I have lots of new friends and some of them are male. I look forward to another week of work and socializing. My life is full and interesting, and I like that! I really can't ask for at this point. Seriously...my main concerns are happy children, decorating my apartment, doing a fantastic job at work, music at night, friends...and boys. Can it get better? Not now. I'm loving life.

Cars I like: Mazda 3. Scion TC. Or is it Scion tc? Toyota Prius, Toyota Yaris. I might be a hippie.

If you listen to The High Road by Broken Bells and don't love it, you are a Commie. It is my goal to use the word "Commie" in every post henceforth.

I pay for internet now. I have to say, I'm not all that pleased with Road Runner's service. I lose my connection way too much. Unplugging and plugging back in? Not my cup of tea. I'm disappointed. Of all the internet services I've paid for, Insight Communications has been the most fulfilling. Just saying. Maybe Road Runner will redeem itself. This is just my initial response.

I might be addicted to apple juice. Which isn't horrible, but water would be more caloric-friendly. Also, addicted to wine...which we all know is calorically-laden.

I'm contemplating my wardrobe choices for tomorrow. Warm day (yay!) but what to wear? Wanna look professional yet cute. Oh, the quandaries I face!
