Who needs a list?

So, this is a pretty freaking amazing thing.  Yesterday, I made a grocery list.  The fridge was doing so-so, but the pantry was getting pretty bare bones.  And the fresh produce was dwindling. Tonight, after I met my friend for a drink, I decided to make an impromptu stop at the store.  It was late, so I figured fewer old people, hilljacks, and screaming kids would impede a quick trip through the tiny Kroger that lives in my hugely growing town. Or city.  I don't know.  Anyway, of course I didn't have my list with me.  So I just winged it.  And guess what?  I didn't miss one thing from my list!  I'm not sure that's ever happened when I actually had list in hand.  Check it:

And I only got a few additional items.  And nothing non-essential.  I kind of rock.

That's pretty cool. And probably a sign of discipline. I'm usually not allowed to go to the grocery store by myself. I will spend all discretionary income at the Food Lion. I swear I will.

Impressive & good call on choosing to get the cucumber. I saw that you were questioning it.

I've got to where I take a pic of my list with my phone when I think it's done just in case I forget it. I have a shopping list program on my phone, but it's not near as easy as an old-fashioned list.

Look at you! I would have at least forgotten one or two things!
