Docs and stuff

Today is my seventh day of being soft drink-free, and I don't really miss them! Well, maybe a little bit, first thing in the morning. But I really am surprised at how well I'm doing.

I had my follow-up visit with my doctor yesterday (it got moved from Tuesday) and she's really pleased with how I'm doing with the Cymbalta. She wants me to stay on it for a year, just to get me through next Winter, since I probably have seasonal affective disorder (which I previously just thought of as the Winter Blahs). She recommended prunes for my constipation - yum. And she gave me a thumbs up on my current Benefiber treatment. And best of all, even though she's not taking new patients, she's agreed to see Tony as her patient because she likes to keep families together! This is awesome news, since she's so fabulous, and since Tony's current group is so un-fabulous.

Cam, Tony and I also had dentist appointments yesterday. All went well there, too. I think our dentist is pretty darn cool. Cameron got up super-early yesterday because he was "just so excited about my dentist appointment!" Crazy kid!!

You know, I really am LUCKY to have such awesome medical professional in my life. Love my Family Doctor, Love love love my gynecologist, love my dentist, love the kids' pediatrician....it's just awesome! Now, those f-ers better not ever retire!
