Holy Crap

My life has been filled with it lately. Luke needs to see a GI specialist about his chronic constipation. His pediatrician examined him yesterday, and he was pretty well cleared out at the moment...no hard stool in there. However, as I mentioned last post, he has usually three loose stools a day, and his behavior is definitely connected to his Miralax dosage...so his pediatrician just wants to make sure she's not missing anything. He had the most gigantic, foul, awful, gagging poop ever this morning. It really had me near-vomiting, and I don't have a weak stomach about that stuff at all.

Cam slept in this morning, and while I was nursing Claire downstairs, I heard him in our bathroom. He was in there forever, and finally Luke decided that he'd go check on him. Then I heard both of them banging stuff around in the bathroom. As I ascended the stairs to put Claire down for her post-nursing nap, the stench of poop about knocked me backwards. (not exaggerating) At first, I blamed Walter, since he's been known to do such things. But when I hit my bedroom, it was obvious that Walt wasn't the offender. There was poop on my carpet outside the bathroom. Poop all over the bathroom floor. All over the towels/clothes on the bathroom floor. All over the toilet, inside and out. All over Cameron. He obviously had had explosive diarrhea and had attempted to clean it up himself. I was so overwhelmed! Add to the shit, the boys had smeared my liquid foundation all over their faces and the counter/sink. I threw Cam in the bathtub to soak and went to work with bleach, scrubbing the poop off of all bathroom surfaces. Scrubbed Cam. The clothes/towels are soaking in the washer now. Carpet looks clean, but I'm worried about residue. Ugh, what a morning!!

I mean, SHIT!

OMG Mel you poor thing! I was just about gagging reading about the poop everywhere. I did have to laugh about your make-up though.

Good luck with the specialist for Lukey.

OMG, Mel you poor thing! I was almost gagging at your description. Although the thought of the boys in your foundation made me chuckle.

Good luck with the specialist for Lukey. I hope his pooping problems go away.
