Just want to report that Montgomery Inn has changed their salad. It is now huge with a new ingredient that is hidden under the lettuce that I didn't see before I tasted. Had I seen it, I would not have eaten it. But I'm glad it was hidden, because I found it to be surprisingly delicious! The ingredient: dried cranberries!
Yes, Tony and I dined at Montgomery Inn last night. I hadn't been to the Boathouse since I was employed, so it was pretty cool. We had a sweet $50 gift cert that Tony got at work for being a fabulous programmer (and from my former business unit, which is currently headed by the Queen of Showing Appreciation for Great Programmers - hopefully, more yummy awards will follow). We stuffed ourselves with appetizers, salad, ribs, pulled pork and beef brisket (well, I skipped the brisket, yuck), Mediterranean pasta, French fries (I also declined the fries), pale ale (I sipped, it was just ok) and Dr. Pepper. An awesome dinner out. Excellent service. Couldn't ask for more. Well, except the same, more often!
Oh, and Claire just rolled from her back to her belly for the first time (that I'm aware of)! She's been doing the belly to back thing for like ever, but just decided, at 7 months, to expand her repertoire. Wonder when she'll figure out that rolling across the room will get her to all of that forbidden stuff she's had her eye on for months?

Sounds wonderful. I hope you have many more "fabulous programmer" rewards in the future!
