Camisms

1) "Thank you for offering a answer for me." - after I explained that Cam needs to loosen his laces before he tries to put on his shoes.

2) After he woke up, flew down the steps and ran across the kitchen to Tony...

Cam: "Dad, you are so excited to see my muscles!"
Dad: "Where did they come from?"
Cam: "They just grew with all my parts."

3) "Look, they're all the right size now!" - following his first stool softener-induced poop.

Ew.

If you are a gross slob, I apologize in advance for offending you.

We went to dinner at Olive Garden the other night (when you're there, you're family, you know) and when we came back out, this grody vehicle was parked next to our van. Windows all down, it shouted, "take my picture and share it with the world!"

And the worst part: a kid young enough to sit in a booster seat is subjected to that filth. I totally hope our car didn't get cooties from being so close to it.

Buy a dress

I'm supposed to be organizing the office, but I have to get this out...

Have you seen the stupidest Macy's commercial ever? There are women in trendy summer dresses trimming hedges and catching butterflies with nets. And it's all choreographed. It's trippy.

Some updatin'

1. Life is much easier when you're not hugely pregnant. It's amazing how effortless it is to squat down to wash your child's legs. And to stand at the kitchen sink. To lie in bed. et cetera.

2. We are in our new home! We've been here for 2.5 weeks now. It's coming together, slowly but surely.

3. This cheap-ass keyboard sucks!!! The keys randomly work. Particularly the "t" and the space bar.

4. The computer is now in the office (go, fourth bedroom!) on an actual desk. It is wirelessly connected now...or I should say sporadically wirelessly connected, since we are having issues staying connected. And the router is just down the hall.

5. Claire is beautiful and sweet and doing fabulously. Especially in the sleeping-at-night category. I dislike braggers, but I have to proudly tout that my girl slept 6 hours straight last night. Knock on wood, but I think this is Nature's way of making up for Lukey's lack of consistent first-year sleep.

6. They are widening the main road near us, and there is an electronic sign that says "Cherry Drive Closed. Use Apple Drive." I like that. And down the road a bit is Peach Drive.

7. Believe it or not, there is a very large water tower across the street from our subdivision. I'm dealing with it really well.

8. Cameron and Luke are currently playing in their room. I heard Luke start crying and then Cam said, "Are you ok, Luke? I'm sorry I hurt your feelings." This is atypical.

9. Cam is a box. He weights 42 pounds and is 42 inches tall.

10. Claire is a chunk. She weighs 12 pounds, 10 ounces. And that's a lot.
