Napping Woes

Man, Cam's going through a separation anxiety phase. 3 times out of 5, when we put him down for his naps, he screams. It's so pitiful. This is new for us (he used to just roll over and hug his stuffed doggy) and it's NO FUN! The more tired he gets, the harder it is to get him to nap. I just finally got him down for his second nap. It was rough. I put him down at his usual time - around 12:30. He screamed, he cried, he kicked, he fussed. He would get quiet, then it would start all over again. I picked him up after a while and "slow danced" with him. He was exhausted. He laid his head on my shoulder and was so sleepy. I put him back down - more screaming. So I made him a bottle, thinking it would knock him out. No dice. He scarfed down the bottle, but when I laid him in his crib - you guessed it - he cried. He finally quieted down and fell asleep after about 15 minutes. Lord, I hope this nap is a long one.
