Many Musings

Cameron does the cutest thing at mealtimes. He loves graham crackers, so I usually give him some to much on while I try to get spoonfuls of fruit, etc. in his mouth. So the past few days, he's been offering his cracker to me! He sticks it in my face and smiles and laughs when I pretend to take a bite. He's done the same with Tony. Also, whenever I want him to open his mouth I say "bite?" and he usually opens. Yesterday morning, he kept saying what sounded like "bite?" when he offered me the cracker. Isn't he a cutie pie?

I am so darn tired today. Must be because I'm practically hemorrhaging. Probably too much info for most, but this is the second month in a row that my period has been a gusher. All I know is I must get to the store to get more supplies tonight. Blah. Being a woman rocks!

Tony surprised Cameron and me with a very cool delivery today...two new Baby Einstein dvds. We (mom and dad) were getting so sick of Baby Van Gogh. The new ones are Baby Neptune - Discovering Water & Baby Galileo - Discovering the Sky. Cam and I watched Neptune today. Not bad. A nice change of pace!

The mail. OK, time for a rant. The mail comes at all odd hours. Could be 10:00 am. Could be 5:00 pm. It has yet to come today. And the mailman looks like a drunk. Or homeless. He has dirty shaggy blond hair and doesn't even wear a mail uniform, I don't think. He tromps though the landscaping. Literally though the bush, rather than the large, round stepping stone right next to the bush. We always get mail for 3514 Concord. The other day I received two People Magazine "last chance to renew" notices. One address to me and one addressed to a hair salon on Dixie Highway. Very nice. OK, rant off.

I don't think Cam is going to take his afternoon nap. He's in there babbling and kicking the crib rail now. He was pretty sleepy-acting when I put him in there. Guess he got his second wind. I hope he tires himself out before Tony gets home from work...after that, it will be hopeless. Tony is like caffeine for Cameron. He gets so excited to see him! I want him to nap now so he isn't a bear the rest of the evening. It's getting quiet in there now...we shall see.

I get very excited over the dumbest things. Case in point: vacuum. Anyway, I just found out that the diapers and formula I ordered from amazon.com have been shipped. They are in Lexington now, so I expect them tomorrow! Oh boy! Who else gets that excited about Similac and Pampers?

OK, topic for tomorrow (so I don't forget): reading books that you can't stand
