Today = cycle day 13. Peak fertility, according to the trusty fertility monitor. We'll be hanging the "do not disturb" sign on the doorknob tonight. My luck is so whacked...don't you know that of all nights, I have rancid gas? Lucky dog, that Tony is. So, please keep your fingers crossed that this is our month. Perhaps #7 is indeed lucky (hard to believe this is our seventh month trying).
What would you buy if you won a $5000 shopping spree at Best Buy? I half saw a commercial today about a chance to win $5000 in Best Buy products. I was only kinda paying attention. It got me thinking, though...what would I spend my 5000 Best Buy dollars on? Roughly, I'd probably allot about $2000 for a laptop w/accessories; $400 for an mp3 player; $1500 for a flat panel tv (our perfectly fine regular boxy tv can go down in the basement for Tony); $350 for a dvd recorder; and $600 on various movies/cds. Not that you guys probably care about how I'd spend my loot. Just something to think about.
It's time for me to start looking for some part-time seasonal work. Need some more bucks coming in. I figure if I work a couple nights a week and one weekend day, that would help. My friend told me Bath and Body Works is hiring seasonals now. I think I'll check that out. I dig the place and already know a fair amount about their product. Not that I really WANT to get a job...I like coming and going as I please. But we could really use the income, however little it would be.
