It's 4:20. Cameron's still napping and I await Tony's arrival home from work, with chocolate and Dr. Pepper. He said he'd bring me them. I really hope he does. So...I'll type until C-note wakes up. Here are some words the little man says these days:
Mom/Mama
Dad/Dada
Dog/Gog
Baby
Wiggle
Go
Bye/Bye-Bye
Ball (although he hasn't said "ball" in a while)
Oh, I had mentioned a few weeks ago that Cameron had given up his morning nap. Well, happily, it's back. THANK GOD. He's much less cranky when he takes two naps a day.
So, I am on cycle day 11 and my fertility status is "high" but not "peak." It's getting to be that prime time of the month again. I really hope this is the cycle for us. It's already taken longer this time to get preg than it did with Cameron. And then I have a question - if we don't conceive this month, do we even try next month? Conceiving in September means another June baby. Is it ok to have two kids whose birthdays are the same month? Should we avoid that?
I just got a library card for my county! I usually just buy books, but we are TRYING to spend less and really, we don't have a lot of storage space for more books. So I've decided to start checking books out from the library. My only fear is that Cam will get ahold of one and destroy it. I'll have to be careful, I guess. Tell me what books you recommend I check out! Reply to this entry, please. I have come up with a few titles that I've heard are good:
"I Love Everybody and Other Atrocious Lies" by Laurie Notaro
"The Probable Future" bye Alice Hoffmann
"Confessions of a Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsella
"Eats Shoots and Leaves" by Lynne Truss
"Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim" by David Sedaris
Have you read any of those? Opinions? Please?
I totally want a laptop/notebook computer. They are so inexpensive now. Yeah, yeah, I know I just said we are trying to spend less $$, but I can't help it! I just WANT WANT WANT! I WANT to be pregnant right now. I WANT a Dell notebook today. I WANT some damn chocolate! Really, what I WANT is for Hank to stop his obsessive licking. The dog licks and licks and licks constantly. I don't know if it's a nervous habit, or if his tongue itches and licking relieves it, or if he somehow feels unclean or what, but it's driving me insane. I've been going slowly mad as a result of his licking for the past year. I kid you not.
How do you get front row tickets to a concert? Any experience there? Just wondering.
OK, I'm going to end this entry for now. Tony will be home momentarily and I must check in on Cam. Next time, we'll talk about some serious topics (health-related). Until then, take care.
