It's bEEn a while

Time for another blog entry, ya think?

So...we ended up having the cookout Sunday and I'm super-glad we did! It was good good fun. Check out pictures of the fun and games here. My relatives are back home in Florida now...it was a short visit, but it was fun!

Cameron ate a cucumber chunk yesterday. A vegetable! Not that cucumbers have much nutritional value! Today he had tomatoes (really a fruit, so does it count?) and a ton of kiwi. Two new additions to his diet. I've found that it's way more likely that Cam will eat something not-so-familiar if I put in on a fork for him. Crazy kid and his silly table manners!

Oh, by the way, he has four molars coming in at once. No wonder he screams every time I try to brush his teeth now. Knock on wood, though - he's taking it really well so far. No nighttime pain, no fevers, no rashes. Just more drooling than usual and a little bit of whining.

Talked to the people at Nettwerk about my BNL Cincinnati bootleg show cd. They are sending me another copy. I just wonder what went wrong. It could have been their fault, or it could have equally been our freaking inadequate postman's fault. The cd probably got delivered to 3514 Susan Lewis Drive (we get their mail quite frequently). Some dorkos two streets over could be jamming to my concert right now! At this rate, I'll have Barenaked for the Holidays in my hands before the bootleg cd. It's in stores this coming Tuesday. If you ask my British pal Claire, she might say the whole bootleg cd situation is a big cock up.

Since I'm now part Canadian by association (what?), I'm going to start pronouncing been as "bean." And I guess I'll root for the Maple Leafs come hockey season. Even though it should be Maple Leaves instead of Leafs. It'll be a huge sacrifice for me to overlook that, you know.

Don't quote me on this date, but my dad's bone marrow transplant is tentatively scheduled for something like October 18th. There's a family meeting with the transplant doctor tomorrow at 1pm. Tony is taking a half day so I can go. They are supposed to go over "the good, the bad and the ugly." Of course, I'll be a note-taking fool.

Today is cycle day 27. I think I will test tomorrow morning. I'm honestly not holding my breath, since I'm feeling pretty pms-y. Anyway, that's that.

Well, then, I'm off to take care of some personal correspondence now ("need to write a letter," for those more direct non-fluffy types). Bye!
