Wow, you say, two entries in one day! It's just because this is new and exciting to me. It will wear off and I'll soon be dragging myself to the computer to make "another damn entry" after days of neglecting my blog. So enjoy it while it lasts!
Alrighty...cam had oatmeal & pears w/raspberries, cheerios and raisins for breakfast. I consuted with my cool Junies message board, and found that raisins are a choking hazard. Yes, I am a bad mom. But I was right there with him the whole time, so if his airway were to get blocked, my finger would be there to sweep the offensive raisin in a matter of milliseconds. He so enjoyed the raisins.
I did not make it to the shower yet. Cam awoke from his nap soon after I wrote my last entry. Luckily, the kiddo takes a nap pretty much every two hours, so I'll get a chance to bathe around noon.
OH, reading over my last entry, I've come to a conclusion...I may be comma happy. Perhaps I use them too much. I guess there are worse offenses. Like run-on sentences. Or incomplete sentences. Like these! (hee hee - that "hee hee" was for Tony!)
Little Baby Man is crawling around my office, terrorizing the computer and kicking the hamper. Yes, i have a clothes hamper in my office. And a vacuum cleaner, and a glider. And a basket full of dog toys. Cameron just loves to explore these days. OK, for those who don't know, here are some things he does:
he "army crawls". Not your typical on all fours crawl, but a modified wounded soldier crawl with belly on floor. Very cute.
he sits on his own, if you put hiim in that position. He's just learing to roll from a sitting position to his back or belly, but he can't get into a sit on his own yet.
He says fun words like Mom, Mama (or is it spelled Momma? That one bothers me!??), Da Da, Hey, and many other indistinguisable babbles.
He gives me yummy wet kisses and hugs.
He laughs when he toots.
He can sit in the cart at the grocery! Big boy.
He "pets" (pulls his fur and tail) and kisses Walter. He's doing this now. Walter does not mind. I think he likes the attention. Hanker, on the other hand, is scared of Mobile Cameron and hides/runs from him.
He loves to read (look at and chew on) books.
His new favorite toy is the #1 green nesting car. He likes to hold the car in one hand and spin the wheels with the other.
He feeds himself finger foods.
I'm sure he can do more. I'll list more when they come to me.
What do you get a 9 month old for Easter? Katy and Scott (our North Carolina pals) sent us a cool bunny basket/bag, but what do we fill it with? He does not eat candy. He has a bazillion stuffed animals (and I'm sure will receive more from grandparents for Easter). So what should the Easter Bunny bring to our house? Ahhhh, clothes? Perhaps a small toy of some sort? A savings bond? I don't know!!! Being the Easter Bunny is hard!
