Yikes! I've been neglecting my blog! Busy weekend. Tony was off work Friday. Can't remember what we did! Oh yeah, he got his hair cut and I got my brows waxed. Exciting! Cameron had quite a fussy day Friday.
Saturday, we went to my Mom and Dad's house for Easter Eve dinner. Very casual and very fun! I ate way too much. I was supposed to bring homemade bread, but I ran out of time - had to look for last-minute Easter shoes - so I just bought some bread from the store. Oh well, I'll try out my cheesey bread recipe some other time. I'll post some photos on the website.
Today, we went to Jonesville to be with Tony's Dad's family. Church went less than well. It was so easily predicted, but Cameron did not want to sit quietly through the service. Tony ended up playing with him in the back room. Afterward, Cam would just not take a nap at M & B's house. I had to go upstairs and hold him to make him fall asleep. The minute I tried to put him in his pack n play, he screamed and kicked. So I held him and he slept for like 20 minutes. He's one cranky fellow when he does not sleep, so he was off and on fussy the rest of the day. Overall, though, he did well. Lots of loud people, all wanting to hold him. He turned on the charm quite a few times! He totally zonked out in the car on the way home. Good thing it's a long drive! He needed the rest.
Mommy is a bad Easter Bunny, because I did not get C-man's basket ready in time! I only have one thing to go in it - a can of formula. Sad. I hope to get out tomorrow to buy him a couple of outfits and maybe a book to put in the basket. So the bunny come on Easter Monday at our house. No biggie!
Oh my, the Easter Bunny brought Cam A ROCKING HORSE at M & B's house! A rocking horse, that's right. I'll have to take a picture of that as well.
Blah. I ate way too much today. I feel like quite the piggy. It's gonna be hard to crack down and get back on the "diet" this week. The Easter Bunny brought Tony & me lots of good candy! Damn that bunny! And at the same time, bless that bunny!
