So, it's Friday and Dad has been in the hospital for 4 days now. Yesterday, the hematologist did a bone marrow biopsy to see if he can learn why dad's spleen is enlarged. As of this morning, the results aren't back yet. Dad's general practitioner thinks the spleen will have to come out. The hematologist thinks they should let him go home over the weekend. No one knows what's going on...Dad's trying to get the nurses to get in touch with his GP to find out his status. Blah. I can understand his frustration...not much communication seems to be going on.
