Cameron's food selection is expanding! For "brunch" today, he had a half of a waffle (that ia very big!) and applesauce. For a guy who has shunned many table foods, that is awesome. He was chowing down on the waffle.
I guess I have some catching up to do, eh? Let's see...Thursday I went to the dentist. No cavities, not that I ever have any. Tony, Cameron and I went out to eat Thrusday night! It was great. We went to Carrabbas. Cam was a very good boy and only got fussy toward the end. Friday....what happened Friday? Can't remember. Oh yes, I went grocery shopping Friday night. Big fun. Actually, I really enjoyed having some time to myself. Saturday, we went to Amy's place for a Derby party. My horses did not win, and I lost $2 playing cards (we're big betters, can't you tell!) but the food was yummy, as was the company! We stayed out WAY late (past 9:30!) and partied it up. Yesterday was a "taking it easy" kind of day. I went to the gym for a bit in the afternoon. Never got a shower (stinky girl).
Today, I'm all showered and ready to clean. Except I haven't done much cleaning. I put some dishes in the dishwasher and that's about the extent of it. The dirty laundry is threatening to overtake the house, so I at least have to do a couple loads before night falls.
Have you ever seen the movie Goodfellas? I saw bits and pieces of it yesterday. Don't know why, but I kinda liked it. If you have seen it, do you think Ray Liotta looks like Joaquin Phoenix in that movie?
Cameron is crawling around the house like a madman. I have the bedroom and bathroom doors closed and the kitchen and dining room blocked off, so Cam can scoot around from his room, down the hall, to the office and the living room. I've had to move the coffee table in front of the entertainment center, because SOMEONE keeps opening and closing, opening and closing the cabinet door and removing all the contents. I think it's safe to say he's having a blast at the moment!
On a sad note, I did not do too well in Fantasy Racing this week. I came in last place. I was not happy with my last-minute picks anyway.
I'm making tuna casserole for dinner. Wish me luck.
