We all survived! Saturday was Tony's and my anniversary and Cameron spend the whole night with Amy. Tony and I went to The Melting Pot, which as better than awesome. I love it there. We had wonderful food, terrific service and a really nice and fun time together. We came home, cleaned Cam's room and were in bed by 9:30! How sad! I woke up several times in the night. I guess, although I wasn't worried about Cam not being home, my body knew something was amiss. We were up pretty early Sunday morning. Cam was still doing fine at Amy's (he fell asleep within 15 minutes of going to bed and slept until 7:30!), so Tony and I went to First Watch for breakfast (yum) and drove around and did a little shopping at Home Depot before we went over to Amy's. It was her day to have the Sunday dinner. I was sooo tired and so was Cam, since he refused to nap there. Finally, Tony got him to nap for about an hour in Amy's bed. We had coneys and junk food and then we left. Cam seemed happy to be home and loved seeing his dogs. It went really really well for all involved! I think next time, though, we'll pick Cameron up earlier so he can nap at home.
I'd love to be in the shower right now, but I have to wait for a DHL package to be delivered that I have to sign for. Ick. I hate signing for packages. It's the doppler that we decided to rent. I've been tracking it this morning and it is now with the courier, so I'm expecting it soon. I usually see a DHL truck around 11:30-noon. Here's hoping it comes before Cam wakes from his nap so I can get a shower soon.
Short blog, I know, but I'm off to make myself a grilled ham and cheese sandwich (my current obsession).
