Potties, Pukeys and More!

Listening to: Everything to Everyone - BNL

Reading: recently finished Practical Demonkeeping by Christopher Moore. Need a bit of a break before I get back on the Christopher Moore train. If you've read him, you might understand why!

To celebrate Valentine's Day, Tony, Cameron and I went to Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner last night! It was very yum, although I was super-tired and pretty sick to my stomach. After dinner, we went to Babies R Us and bought Cam his first potty! OK, not that I think he's ready to potty train or anything, but I don't think it would hurt for him to get used to what it looks like and stuff. Well, this morning, Cam met the potty. First, he stuck his foot in it. Then he closed and opened the lid about 20 times, saying "uh oh!" each time. I said, "Do you want to sit on the potty?" and he replied, "Po-ay!" Then he played drums and knock-knocked on the lid for a bit. Next he went and got his Baby and duck and put them in the potty. Finally, he carried the potty into the office and was walking around with the detachable seat on his head.

Oh man, here's a yucky story. About a 45 minutes ago, Cam threw up his breakfast all over a couch pillow that was on his bedroom floor. It was all over the pillow, but not a bit hit his carpet. I gave him a bath and brushed his teeth, and now he is in bed. I think the pillow is unsavable, so it is on the front porch for now. It was so incredibly gross. I have no idea why he got sick. He has been very wild and crazy this morning. I don't know - maybe he just ate too much and was too active. All I know is, he's got wonderful aim. If only the dogs would learn to puke on something other than the carpet and in a contained spot!

OK, here's the 411 on my pregnancy symptoms as of late: feeling very bloated, very nauseous (it's kicking my ass!) and super-cold. I'm relatively tired, but it gets much worse as the day wears on. I think I might take preggo belly pictures this time (fully clothed, of course, and probably bi-weekly? or monthly at first?). I'll probably take the first photo at 6 weeks.

It's supposed to be 60 degrees today, so Cam and I will probably take a walk around the neighborhood after lunch (if we're both feeling up to it, that is). It's supposed to be the only nice day for a while, since another cold front with rain and flurries and crap is supposed to be coming through tonight.

Alright, well, off to figure out what we're having for dinner tonight. Unfortunately, we are eating in tonight. Unless....the boys want to go to Skyline? That's quick and inexpensive...we'll see!
