Kinda Sickly

Listening to: Maybe You Should Drive - BNL (Everything old is new again!)

Reading: Night of the Avenging Blowfish: A Novel of Covert Operations, Love, and Luncheon Meat - John Welter (I really like this book so far, Julie!!)

Buggers, I feel like crap. I started feeling bad last night around dinnertime. I just feel all achy and tired and just exhausted. I've been eating all day, although I'm not really hungry at all. I don't think I have a fever, even though I'm pretty cold today. I hope this goes away soon. It's hard to be sick and take care of a rambunctious toddler at the same time! Actually, Cam has been pretty low-key today. He got his diaper bag down from the counter and has been entertaining himself all day with its contents. Namely the credit/insurance/gift cards from my wallet. I don't mind, though. At least he is staying self-occupied. I just put him down for his afternoon rest. For his nap this morning, I napped/read, so I got nothing done - not even a shower. I didn't shower yesterday, either, so I am really turning into one stinky grease ball. I will definitely need a scrubbing tonight.

Not much to write about, I'm afraid. Yesterday, Cam and I spent a good portion of the afternoon trying to declutter our office. We got the two desk drawers cleaned out, as well as much of the hutch. And you can actually see the desk surface now. In addition, you can walk with relative ease from the door to the desk now. We still have a long, long way to go, but anything is an improvement for this "catch-all" room. It is rather difficult to clean, though, when a certain someone keeps bringing you things and putting things on the newly de-cluttered desk (shoes, dirty laundry, clean laundry, raisins, books, toys, cups you know - stuff like that).

Cam gives the best hugs. He'll put his arms around me, pat my back and lay his head on my shoulder. Makes me not even want to put him down. He loves to give hugs before bedtime. Melts me every time! And his kisses are great too! They are wet, sloppy and toothy. Sometimes, he'll end the opened mouth kiss with a smooching sound. So cute. But what can you expect from a guy like this? (he's wearing my boxers around his neck)
