Well, we went to the doctor this morning. Cam has an ear infection in his right ear and an upper respiratory infection. Makes me kick myself for not taking him in sooner. I felt like something was wrong, but was afraid it was just a regular cold or a cold plus teething pain. Anyway, we got him some yummy amoxicillin and ear drops, so he should be on his way to feeling better soon. I hope! We get to go to the urologist for his post-surgery follow-up later this afternoon! What fun! At least he's already bathed for the day. I, on the other hand, would love to get a shower in...if C ever naps, that is. He slept for about 30 minutes in the car, but so far, he's just jabbering and kicking in his crib at home. Please nap, Little Guy, please?
Today's the first day of my "diet." I realized that perhaps I should not call it a diet. Maybe I should call it "my consumption modification." I am just cutting way back. No soft drinks. Very little chocolate. But I'm not going to deny myself the good things in life like pizza and pasta. I am going to try to say no to breads more often than not. I think my modifications will help. I hope so, anyway. My first weigh-in was today, but from here on, I'm going to weigh myself on Fridays. I'm too ashamed to list my weight, but I will list how many pounds I've lost/gained/or if I remained the same. So, look for my first update on Friday!
