So, like, to be more fulfilled, you are supposed to like yourself. And you're supposed to care for yourself. And treat yourself well. And so on. Do you have a hard time with all the self-love? Ahem. Not that self-love. Though, that is treating yourself well, so maybe including that self-love as well. Anyway. Do you stop to think about the things you do to focus on you? I feel like I do a ton of shite for myself, but I still don't feel all IN LOOOVE with me. So, lemme think about what I do.
What I am pretty good at doing on a regular basis:
- I make time for music. Focusing mostly just on what I hear, and processing it.
- I make time to write.
- I try to get monthly pedicures, despite the cost. Cause I love it. Loooooove it.
- Let's face it: I spend a lot of time on the internet, interacting with friends near and far. It's very satisfying to me, and I don't deny myself that pleasure. Also, I spend a lot of time reading a myriad of info, blogs, news, etc. (maybe too much...)
- Wine.
What I'm trying do do more of:
- Picture taking
- Reading
- Watching movies
- Taking Claritin to get rid of my goop-throat. (that sounds lame, but it does help, and it makes me feel better about myself. And, I don't want to speak too soon, but I think it's helping with my itchy-hivey-skin issues, as well?)
Some other ideas:
- I want clothes in a bad way, but can't afford to blow $$ on myself right now, when I have perfectly decent clothing already. I could try sifting through thrift stores to see if I can satisfy my need. Also, I want a new purse. I just do.
- Exercising. JustDoIt,Lazyass.
- Take more baths. You used to dig baths. When's the last time you had one?
- Finally cash in my promised massage with J. 6-pk of beer = hr-long massage? I'll take it!
- Take walks. Explore. Discover.
Can you help me? Any ideas? Am I on the right track, or just totally missing the mark? Also, what do you do for you? What CAN you be doing better for yourself?

Haircuts, massages, pedicures, manicures, etc. The Human Touch is a good thing and makes you feel better.
Maybe you could spend some time at a hospice or similar place volunteering to read to others. Maybe teach a blogging class at the Library? I hear you know people.
