Microthoughts

I have a lot of songs with the word 'Satellite' in their title on my iPod.

I'm not sure how to feel about flip flops...they are convenient and comfortable. That flippyfloppy sound is kind of annoying, though. And my feet are blurgh.

Is there anything better than stretching?

I just watched all the videos I recorded on my mobile cellular at the Ingrid Michaelson concert the other night. In each and every one, there is some chick singing (badly) in the background. Sheesh.

Ingrid is hilarious. And entertaining. And is fabulous live.

The Pink Panther Epidemic has reached an all-time high at my house.

"And when I see you, I really see you upside down. But my brain knows better, it picks you up and turns you 'round. Turns you around, turns you around."

Paul McCartney is 68 today. When I was like 6, I wanted to marry him. Now he looks like an old lesbian.

I still desire those tees from Old Navy.

I have some frightening, discouraging news: I am going to have to put on a bathing suit tomorrow night. I already know it won't be good.

I'm having a hard time eating lately. Let me explain: I like to eat. I enjoy food. I eat regularly. But, I am getting full too quickly. Not just happily, moderately full; but overstuffed to the point of revulsion full. After eating small amounts. I don't get it, and I'm not happy about it. I want to experience and enjoy a variety of foods in one sitting.

Who came up with the concept of vitamin water? And why? What else can we waste our money on? Now, vitamin wine....that's an idea.

When I had a really boring job that was not fulfilling or challenging, I had a hard time getting through the work day. So, I made up "points" - little time goals to reach. My points were 10am and 2pm. I shared this info with a coworker, who was also bored much of the day (well, because she avoided work at most costs, but that's beside the point). So, the high point of our day was emailing each other the word "POINT!" at 10am and 2pm. Serious.

Get divorced before you have kids, so you aren't forced to attend at 2-evening "Families in Transition" class.

I will soon be the proud owner of approximately half of my own stuff.

And as pathetic as I seem, I am truly, honestly, undoubtedly happier now than I was this time last year, or the year before that. Much more peace in my heart. And I like myself. I'm ok!
