Maybe closed

We try, and we fail.  We might have preconceived ideas of what is ideal.  We might look past those ideas and attempt to be open minded.  But when the other person is bashing another couple for holding hands in public and mockingly saying "go ahead and hold hands...because it's forever" rather than saying "go ahead and hold hands...because it's tonight" then you might know that this person is on a different page than you are.  A whole different scary level.  When you feel like you might be more comfortable at home, drinking wine in your PJ bottoms and your comfy Cleveland Indians t-shirt than drinking wine at the bar in your show-off-your-awesome-body outfit, that is when you know it's time to say goodnight.  So, goodnight.  And good night.  No reason to step outside the comfort zone, when that place is far from what you know.  I mean, yeah, different from what you know, yet close to what you know is cool.  But on the other end of your reality?  Nope.  No thanks.  Call me closed-minded, fine.  Perfectly fine with that.
