Your talent is in there!

My downstairs neighbor has a beautiful voice.  My other neighbor plays cello beautifully.  One of my best friends takes the most amazing photos of women you will ever see.  Everything around me is beautiful.  Which leads me to wonder where my place is?  I don't really do anything beautifully.  I'm ok at lots of stuff.  I'm ok at taking pictures.  I probably have a good eye or whatever.  I used to be able to play clarinet semi-well.  I can do my job decently.  I can write okay.  I'm super-good at loading a dishwasher.  But what do I do in a beautiful manner?  No singing voice to speak of.  I'm not that great at the mom thing...I'm just pretty all right at that.  I admit I can follow a recipe well, especially where baked goods come into play.  But I don't have a special talent.  I wish I could make lovely music, take awesome photos, say amazing things that inspire people...but that's not happening.  Instead, I watch others be excellent.  I observe excellence.  I am good at observing!  I'm a beautiful observer.  Maybe that's not as point-outable as the beauty that surrounds me, but it's something.  I'm pretty damn good at taking things in.  I'm great at absorbing my surroundings.  Anyone need a world-class observation artist?
