Reading up on photographic composition, I have decided that either you get it or you don't. Sure, some things you can learn, but I think either you see it or you don't. You capture what you see (or crop it how you thought you saw it) and either it's composed well or it's not. I'm thinking it's one of those intuition things.
Not to say what you think looks right and what you feel is well-composed is the "norm." In that case, I say, GoForIt. Share what is your art. Maybe it's not textbook "rule of thirds" stuff, but maybe it's just so amazing that throwing the rules out the window makes a rocking shot.
