I ate crap for lunch today (M&Ms and prepackaged peanut butter sandwiched by orange crackers. oh, and cherry coke), so I decided to have a proper dinner. I work until 7pm, and who has time to cook, so I stopped by the grocery for some sorta home-cooked stuff. And? My plate looked great with a slice of meatloaf and spinach pasta salad on it. Better yet, it tasted great! I've been craving meatloaf...and was it ever yum! The salad was delicious, too, with a light balsamic dressing and tomatoes, cucumbers, and parmesan cheese. I feel like I canceled out this day's craptabulous lunch. (Plus, manly meatloaf sandwich for lunch tomorrow, FTW!)
Then I did laundry, da da da... (exciting)
Oh, did I mention, my new job has been delayed a week? My supervisor lobbied to keep me another week. One of my friends here at work is convinced another week will follow...we shall see...
And now. A question. And an answer:
Who's your favorite musician?
I don't have one. I love music. So much so that you might call me addicted to it. But I can't pick out one. So I'll name several. Modest Mouse. The Long Winters. Barenaked Ladies. Led Zeppelin. The Shins. Ingrid Michaelson! Butterfly Boucher! Jason Plumb! Mike Doughty. Broken Bells. Death Cab For Cutie. Franz Ferdinand. Jenny Lewis. Queen! The Strokes! There you have it. Basically, my playlist.

I like storytellers with accoustic guitar and piano accompaniment. Jim Croce, Josh Ritter, John Lennon, Cat Stevens, Arlo Guthrie, Emily Griffin, Emmy Lou Harris, Nanci Griffith. I also like Weezer and most things pop-80's.
