Still Waiting

So, I'm completely sick of talking about it, but here's the story. Call this morning from the apartment people. They need to approve my co-applicant (my mommy, cause I can't get an apartment on my own), but the company they use for background checks/credit checks had server probs today. And of course, they don't offer weekend support. So, tomorrow for approval. And since I work til 7pm each weeknight, that means next weekend for move-in. Which I'm honestly ok with at this point. What's another week? Nothing, really. It'll happen. (I hope)

Would I rather be in bed before 10pm at my own home? Yes. But I'm ok with being at the bed and breakfast another week. It's comfy. It's familiar. Great friends here. They don't complain about my habits/ways/quirks. It's all cool. In bed before 10pm is an anomaly for me. I don't know how to explain it - I'm just tired. And determined to get up early and get a great start on my Monday. I might even make coffee at home! Imagine!

Another week of riding the bus to work...which I don't mind. I like the bus people. The folks I experience while waiting for the bus, I can do mostly without. I've seen/smelled some real winners. I'll describe them at a later time. I get another week of purchasing some delicious dark roast at Kitty's Coffee at the Mercantile Center downtown. Kitty is cool, and she knows my order. That somehow makes me feel special.

And really, all I want is to feel special...so fucking special. Cause I'm a creep.

Are you talking about the Mercantile Building in the 400 block of Walnut St? Yeah? Then you should take the elevator up to the Mercantile Library. Members only, but you can visit. Such an awesome space! A great place to pack a lunch and write. Check it out.
