25 Random Things, Booyah!

I have been tagged by a gazillion people on Facebook to do this 25 random things survey thing. I'm supposed to list 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about myself and then beg 25 other lucky people to do the same. I think I'll just do the listing, and do it here in blog land.

1. My newest annoying habit is eating ice. I'm don't do it compulsively, or in public, but if I have a glass of water at home, you better believe I'll be chomping on the ice cubes.
2. I really dig Barenaked Ladies and try my darndest to see them whenever they come near this area. I used to love Ed, but now I love both Ed and Steve.
3. I listen to one CD over and over and over until it drives Tony crazy. I've always been like this. If I were to ever get an mp3 player, this might change.
4. For the first time in my life, I now have caller ID. And it's awesome!
5 . I don't like pie, or pastries, or anything with a crust or that is filled with fruit or cheese.
6. I could eat a whole bag of milk chocolate chips in 2 hours, easily.
7. I love, LOVE, the sound and feel of walking on rock salt, gravel, or sand on concrete. It gives me the chills, and in a good way. It's best with gym shoes.
8. Like my sister, I enjoy the scent of gasoline fumes (unleaded or diesel), whiteout, and permanent markers. And new tires. And the interior of new cars. And black jeans.
9. I obsessively and compulsively pick at pimples on my face and scalp. And then the scabs that leaves behind. I don't know why I do it - I don't care about having perfect skin, or ridding myself of pimples. I can't figure out the psychology behind it. It's just extremely satisfying to me - not unlike popping bubble wrap.
10. I love velcro. I love touching the rough side and the soft, fuzzy side. I love the sounds of unfastening velcro.
11. I have disgustingly dry hands almost all year long. I use lots of lotion, but I wash my hands a lot (not obsessively, just after changing diapers, before preparing food, after touching eggs, chicken, after pottying, etc). I lube up most every night, but still they are a mess. I've passed this good fortune on to my Cam.
12. I am proud of myself for my increased desire to keep a decent-looking house. I think it has something to do with pride in ownership.
13. I hate my feet. I dislike feet in general, but other people's feet don't bother me as much as they used to. Mine, however, are the devil.
14. I love all three of my kids' feet, though.
15. I like to drive on textured surfaces, like bridges and overpasses. I really enjoy rumble strips.
16. I wish I could take a couple of photography classes.
17. I've been married twice.
18. I think I'm spoiling my daughter. She is just so delicious and sweet and charming. I wonder if I let her get by with things just because of that cute tilt of her head and sly smile?
19. I could snuggle with Claire and kiss her cheeks all day, I think.
20. I've only had, I think, one real "sex dream" in my life. Like detailed, I mean. Usually my "sex dreams" are after the fact. Like, "oh, I am at a concert with Ed Robertson and we DID IT earlier." How pathetic is that?
21. The real sex dream was about my husband. So much for wild and crazy!
22. I just might be a prude!
23. People think I'm funny when I'm not trying to be. I think that's called 'laughing at and not with you.'
24. I'm extremely confused about where to put punctuation in relation to quotes, and it really bothers me. Everyplace I look says something different. I want one standard, dammit!
25. I hope to use our income tax refund to become sterilized, get glasses and have the carpets cleaned. How exciting is that?
