You may be right...
I may be crazy. I am going to add a challenge to my plate. I love to read, but haven't done much of it this past year. Three kids, full time. One infant, part time. One job, part time. Housekeeping. Bathing. Breathing. For 2009, though, I want to make time for reading, and by participating in 100+ Book Challenge for 2009, I will hopefully make myself accountable for following through! How are you doing with this? I'm sucking big time. I keep making lame excuses not to finish this first one. I think it's just not interesting enough. I probably need something a little more mainstream. Tom Clancy, John Grisham, anyone?
I am doing awful. A-W-F-U-L. I'm still on my first book, too. Although, I really like it!! It's just that I'd rather be on the 'net, or playing PathWords, or sleeping. I like to read before going to sleep, but usually crap out before finishing the first sentence. Have you read David Sedaris? Or Kurt Vonnegut? They are my favorites, and really easy for me to read. I don't really get into Gisham or Clancy. I did get hooked on the Lucas Davenport "Prey" books by John Sanford for a while. I think those are pretty mainstream...
