It's Thursday, It's Random

Spring, Spring, Spring is here! The weather is gorgeous! The sun feels fabulous on my bare arms! Joyful, joyful, Spring!

So, I'm sitting around, choking down my daily serving of prunes. Actually, they're not that bad. I'm getting to where I sort of enjoy them. The texture kind of gets to me still, though. And singing a little ditty about Spring (as you can see above...too bad you can't hear it).

I've got pork chops going in the crock pot. Score one for domesticity!

The boys are at school and the girly-girl is napping. Score one for Mel-time!

I mowed the front yard last night. Score one for horticulture!

I'm on my period. Score one for womanhood!

Speaking of my period...I started Monday, when I took my NuvaRing out. Yesterday, I was thinking, "this period is rockin'-awesome! It's so light and non-bothersome! Joyful, joyful period!" (okay, I really didn't think, "joyful, joyful period!") Then, this morning, it got really really heavy. What can you do.

Anyway...Claire and I ran to the grocery to pick up our "small trip" items. I went over my small trip budget by $10.

Speaking of budgets and groceries and being poor, I finally heard back from Google. I had applied for a Quality Rater position like 40 years ago. I qualify to take the exam. My exam starts Monday! Cross your fingers that I pass. I'd like to be able to go to the grocery without a calculator sometime soon.

Alrighty, speaking of money, I need to enter today's debits into my checkbook program. I'm outie.
