Bullseye

I took the boys to Target with me tonight. It's the first time in a long time that both have gone shopping with me. Thankfully, I think Luke is now over his throw-an-enormous-fit-when-mom-tries-to-put-me-in-cart-seat syndrome. (That's an actual illness) And Cameron's just about cured from his must-touch-everything-and-run-at-least-ten-feet-in-front-of-cart-or-hide-in-clothing-racks disorder. (Again, actual diagnosis) They were actually extremely well-behaved little angels tonight.

When did everything get so expensive? I swear, I used to love Targeting. Now, I pretty much dread going. Is it because we actually had money to spend back in the day? It's just a lot of stress now. Plus, I have a hard time figuring out unit cost. Who the hell knows if it's better to buy eight rolls of generic toilet paper for $6.29 or 13 rolls for $10.59? (I totally just made up those numbers) Who the eff has the time or even brainpower to figure such things out? Makes me appreciate how Kroger lists the unit price. Go Kro! And why does contact solution cost so stinking much? It's highway robbery...that's what I told the kids. They returned two blank looks. In the sanitary products aisle, Cam sang "Tampons, tampons! That's what Mom's getting!" The least expensive item on my receipt: MP crackers, which I think=Target brand graham crackers, at 1.19. The most expensive: TB DHA...generic formula at 11.89. Pretty cryptic. I forgot to use my three coupons. That's $2.50 I'll never see again.

BTW, still bleeding. Have lost count of the cycle day. Brain cells flowing out with uterine lining.
