I am so sick of all this rain. This moring it hailed giant balls...I'm thinking bigger than golf ball-size. I so long for Spring. I just can't wait until we can get out of the house without having to worry about carting Cameron around in the rain and cold. And the carseat is much easier to deal with when Cam's not wearing a jacket. Perhaps the sun will come out for us this afternoon? I can hope...
OK, so I thought I'd list some current favorites:
LISTENING TO: Everything to Everyone by Barenaked Ladies (Mel)
Hickory Dickory Dock, preformed by Mommy (Cam)
READING: The Blessing Way by Tony Hillerman (Mel)
The Going to Bed Book by Sandra Boynton (Cam)
FAVORITE TV SHOW: Law & Order SVU (Mel)
The Wiggles (Cam)
FAVORITE FOOD: Meatloaf (Mel's on a kick)
Apples & Cherries (Cam)
We only have half a can of formula left. I've been checking amazon.com to order more....but it's been out of stock. I hate paying full price at the store when we can get it for like $6 cheaper online and with free shipping! Oh well, looks like we'll be heading to Kroger soon.
Le Bebe is down for his morning nap. He was very sweet this morning. After his bottle, he just leaned back against me and watched Playhouse Disney in my arms. Very uncharactaristic of him these days. I hope he's feeling ok. This could be the beginning of tooth #3. Teeth are not exactly fun business around here. Our laid-back baby turns into Inconsolable Cranky Pants.
Do you think I should get a griddle? Is it just as easy to make pancakes in a pan? Not that I ever make pancakes....but Tony likes them and maybe Cam might like them in the near future. I should become more domestic and make pancakes on a regular basis.
If you know me, you know I worry a lot. I'm worried that my writing style is annoying to readers. I can formal-it-up if you guys would like. I'm working on getting some kind of "comments" or "feedback" for this blog (the Administrator, aka Tony, is checking into it). In the meantime, if you'd like to comment on/complain about my writing style, please e-mail me or pm me. Any suggestions or feedback would be great.
So, have you guys filed your income taxes? The deadline is looming! Just a reminder.
Ah, I went to dinner with my sister last night. We did Italian. I had been to Carrabba's twice before. The first time, I got a dish that was not really that great. The second time, I had this wonderful meal that left me in heaven. Last night, I could not remember which was which. I just chose one, and guess what? It was the one I did not care for. Blah. Well, for future reference, I like the Rigatoni Martino, not the Pasta Carrabba.
No big weekend plans for us. Maybe some shopping at Old Navy. Tony will probably finish putting together his grandmother's new chest of drawers. I fear that dog baths are in order. They are pretty dirty, with all the damn rain and mud.
Ain't it fun to read about our exciting lives??
