Vacation! My Butt! My, um, Other!

Ahh, vacation was awesome! But not without a rocky start. We arrived in Charleston to find our hotel room was a dump! It was a Holiday Inn! I kind of expected more from them. Anyway, Cam crawled around for about 20 minutes, and his hands, knees and feet were black. There was mold on the sliding glass doors that led to our minisule balcony (it was like two feet wide!) We couldn't stay there. It was getting late and we did not know what to do...how do you know where to look for a decent hotel room? Hilton Head is about 2 hours south of Charleston, and I knew the Westin there was super-nice, so we decided to see if they had a room for that night and the rest of our stay. Of course, they did, so we went there. Much more pricey than we had intended, but at least we were guaranteed a nice, clean room and wonderful pools and beach. It was dreamy. Cam had a wonderful time swimming! He's a little fish! He loves to put his face in the water. In fact, it was challenging to keep his face OUT of the water!! We ended up staying an extra day. I'll get pictures up on the site from the trip one of these days! No, hopefully it will be very soon. They are almost ready - I just have to scan in some pictures that we took on the non-digital camera.

We met two of my "internet" friends in South Carolina. Katy and Erin were awesome! It was great to get the moms and kids together. (OH, and dads, too!) Scott and Maegan are great walkers, so it was cool to see them toddling around. Cam's not quite there yet, and it kinda made me want to see him walking now too, but they assured me that I should enjoy this non-walking time. I wish we could all meet up every year!

My tailbone has been hurting me since last Wednesday (the day before we left Hilton Head). I don't know why. It got worse on Thursday, during our long trek home and was intensely painful until yesterday, when it started to improve. But it still hurts, just less pain now. What a pain in the ass! Sorry, could not resist.

I totally expect my period tomorrow. My temperatures are still high (which I think is a possible sign of pregnancy) but I have lots of impending period symptoms...ugly pimple on chin, achy lower back, moodiness, etc. Oh and I've gotten two negative home prego tests (Monday & Tuesday). I did not test today. I'm pretty sure the flow is a-coming. It's kind of depressing this time. I guess I got my hopes up this cycle. Oh well, we can still hope for a miracle.

Time to hang clothes up from the dryer. Chat more later!
