Eating french bread pizza. Actually waiting for it to cool down. Of course, I just burned the roof of my mouth. Happens everytime!
I just talked to Tony on the phone about dinner. We're having jambalya tonight. We talked about beef roast with green beans and potatoes and decided we'd do that tomorrow. OK, how out-of-touch am I when I have to wonder what day tomorrow even is? Is today Wednesday? Yes, it must be. MSN messenger says it's the 25th and the calendar says the 25th is a Wednesday. It IS August, right? ;) Do you like to be winked at?
Have I ever used the f-word on this blog? I'm really tempted to here, but I won't. I'll just use the f-word's lame understudy, "freaking." I think I have a freaking urinary tract infection. Frequent peeing, slight pain at the send of said peeing - for like 2.5 days now. I've been drinking lots of agua and icky cranberry juice to try to ward the freaker off. It's not getting any worse, but it's not going away either. So what the freak do I do? It's cycle day 19 (I think, let me check - yes, 19 it is). What if I'm pregnant? Can you treat a UTI with antibiotics while you're maybe newly-pregnant? Who do I call? My regular doc or the OBGYN? Would they do a blood test first before prescribing meds? Would a blood test even detect a pregnancy so early? So many questions. I'm just hoping these freaking symptoms go away, like now. NICE FREAKING TIMING, POSSIBLE UTI!
Well, we have new front porch posts, and they look lovely. They'll be back with the railings (they had to be measured for after the posts went up, and special ordered) in about 10 days. So that means they'll probably be back at 8am next week, surprising the crap out of me again! I will take some pictures (say, how about "before", "in-progress" and "after"?) and post them at the completion of the job.
Ah, I think I'll get my lazy-ass slob of a butt in the shower now. It's only 12:28, you know.
