Mice, boobs, the runs, crack, etc.

Listening to: nothing at the moment

Reading: Lamb : The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore

So much to say...so little desire to type it out! Feeling lazy these days. First, our wireless mouse died, finally. So we got a lovely new optical wireless mouse this weekend. It is tres magnifique! Cam has adopted the receiver for the old mouse and drags it around the house, as if he's taking a dog for a walk. Kinda cute. The new mouse has a red laser beam that you really shouldn't look directly at, because it hurts your eyes. And yes, if your husband does it and it hurts his eyes, it will probably hurt yours, too, when you do it.

Boobs are still sore. Cam must always grab at my boobs a lot. I guess I just never really noticed it much until his bopping and squeezing caused excruciating pain! Actually, it doesn't take much. If I position my arm so that it accidentally brushes my boob, ye-ouch. Pain. Still feeling queasy much of the time. It's starting just like it did with Cameron - I only feel good when I'm eating. I mean, don't get me wrong - I love to eat. I just don't want to gain 60+ freaking lbs this time! I had my first chocolate in a couple of weeks this morning. I made brownies to take to Mom's yesterday and they looked so moist and yum, so I thought I'd give one a go this morning. It was good and didn't repulse me at all. The thought of ice cream, however, is making me overproduce saliva as I type. And not in a good "mouth watering" way, either. More like in a "prelude to a spew" kind of way.

C-note had diarrhea for the first time this weekend. It was messy and gross, but not too bad, if you ask me. I don't think it even really smelled that awful. Tony disagrees. I think my senses are all out of whack, which could be a good thing in the case of cleaning up your son's runs, I guess. I found dinner to be uber spicy Saturday night, where Tony thought it was rather bland! It's like a role reversal for us. Oh, I kind of got off track, I think. Anyway, Cam seems to be doing better today. He's had two decent poops already today. One was definitely solid. The other was a little loose, but still healthy in my opinion. What a gross entry this is turning out to be!

Hey, we are supposed to get snow tonight and tomorrow, so hopefully Amy's school will be closed and I'll get out of reading to the 7th graders. It's not that I dread it or anything. I'm just nervous and unprepared. It's tomorrow at 9:30 and I don't have any material yet. I have a list of books to check out that I found on the net, but I've yet to even hold one in my hands. I'm such the procrastinator. I'm nervous because, although I read lots, I rarely read out loud and am not very good at it. I tend to stammer. And I know 7th graders love to make fun of people. Trust me, that was my favorite pastime as a 13-year-old! So, come on, snow! Coat us, please!

Oh my god, more on my neighbor who tore up his driveway. He destroyed more than the driveway. I'm not kidding - he dug up a foot or two of yard on either side of his driveway as well. AND the sidewalk in front of his house! I don't even think that's legal! I mean, I could be totally wrong, but I think the city or county or someone maintains those walkways. So, everything is dug up, all muddy, dirty and messy-looking. It's just lovely. And to top it off, his hilljack friends come over and stand around and look at the destruction in a semi-circle with hand on hips, looking proud. AND....since he has no driveway, his one po-dunk buddy works on his car IN THE STREET! And as a bonus, his pants are hanging down so each time he bends over, I get to see his sickening butt crack! yay! Here are some pictures I snapped Friday.

First, here's the money shot. Even it you can't make out the crack clearly, you can surely see how far his pants are riding down. And notice the lovely garbage cans, blocking people from walking on the "sidewalk"

Here's a wide shot of the driveway and sidewalk. Attractive, eh? I wonder how many weeks/months we'll have to look at this until they pour the concrete?

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!
