Gah, I'm a bad blogger these days. I guess I just don't feel much in the journaling mood. It's not that I don't have anything to say...I just haven't the motivation to put it in writing. I just initially typed 'modivation' for 'motivation' - looks like my brain cells are depleting fast! So, if I can make it through this post without totally butchering it up, I'll review what's been happenin'.
Friday - can't remember what happened Friday. I'm drawing an absolute blank.
Saturday - we went to Amy's to help her put up her tree. Totally ate too many Lil Smokies in BBQ sauce. Am slowly morphing into a multi-pork product.
Sunday - took several shots of Cameron standing in front of the Christmas tree to use as picture inserts for our holiday cards. It was touch and go at first, but we were able to distract him with a couple of ornaments and got some cute pictures. Probably, if you are reading this, you will be receiving the cutest of the cutes any day now. Next, we went to Mom's for our usual Sunday family dinner. We had spaghetti and guess what? I ate too much! Imagine that! Am slowly morphing into high carb pasta product.
Monday - adventurous field trip to post office and mall. Shipped ornaments to my board ornament exchange buddy and bought more stamps than one person should buy at once. Bought gift for my other board gift exchange buddy. Came home. Went back out with Tony and Cameron to dinner at Skyline. Love Skyline chili. Believe it or not, did not overeat. Hey, there's a first time for everything. Went to Target in search of another box of Christmas cards, lysol, oust and ziplock bags. Amazingly, we stuck to the list, which is hard for us to do at Target.
Today - another exciting field trip to the post office. This time, to mail the gift I purchased yesterday. Paid a freaking arm and leg, as it was the longest distance I've ever shipped anything. Also a stop at the bank to move some money around. That makes it sound like we're loaded - "move some money around." Like it's a game or something..."oh, I think I will move 50 grand from the blue chip fund to the high-yield aggressive overseas account." Anyway, if only that could be the truth! Then C and I went to J.C. Penney to pick up his Christmas pictures. Pretty quick and uneventful, but it was windy as hell today! We took Mike and Brenda's photo cards and pictures to Brenda's work, which is near the mall. We had a hard time getting out of there...I think she wanted us to stay and chat longer, but the place is a showroom and Cam kept trying to climb into bathtubs and bidets. We went out to eat once more tonight. We've eaten in so much lately that I just start having restaurant withdrawals. Olive Garden this time. Stuffed myself with breadsticks and could barely eat half of my meal. Am slowly morphing into giant fettuccini noodle.
Tony put our outside lights up tonight and they look super-cool. Many snaps to the T-man!
Our lights, for your viewing pleasure (thinking candy cane?)

And the psychedelic abstract version of our lights

Only 10 more days until BNL concert! Getting super-excited! Trying to talk Tony into waiting outside the venue to meet the band, but he's not into it at all. He's actually being very meanly adamant about not doing it. He doesn't understand why I'd want to meet them. Just because he doesn't get excited or passionate about things doesn't mean I'm weird for doing so, right? Oh well, I'm off to put on some comfy
